ONE Championship: Unstoppable Dreams ‘Lee vs. Yamaguchi II’ fight card, streaming info and more

In a rematch of one of the best fights to take place in 2016, Angela Lee will defend her ONE Atomweight Championship against Mei Yamaguchi in the main event of ONE Championship: Unstoppable Dreams.

Lee won the inaugural ONE Championship Women’s Atomweight title by defeating Yamaguchi via unanimous decision at Ascent to Power. The fight was a back and forth battle that saw dramatic moment after dramatic moment, including multiple submission escapes and Yamaguchi dropping Lee just seconds into the third round.

This bout is being touted as one of the most anticipated rematches in the history of the sport and it’s available to watch for free on the ONE app. The main card begins at 8:30 a.m. ET, 8:30 p.m. local time on Friday, May 18th.

The undefeated champion has submitted every single opponent she’s faced — except for Yamaguchi. Lee, one of the highest paid female athletes in MMA today, will look to close the book on Yamaguchi in Singapore when these two warriors take center stage in the main event of Unstoppable Dreams.

Also on the card, two-division Champion Martin Nguyen will defend his featherweight strap against ONE mainstay — and younger brother of Angela Lee — Christian Lee.

Nguyen heads back to 145 lbs after an unsuccessful bid to become a 3-division champion against bantamweight title holder Bibiano Fernandes earlier this year in the main event of Iron Will.

Before those two world title bouts go down, grappling legend Shinya Aoki, fresh of a 57-second drubbing by the hands of Ben Askren, will look to get back in the win column when he takes on the ultra tough Rasul Yakhyaev.
