Report: Cris Cyborg vs. Megan Anderson headed to Anaheim

We’ve got some good news and we’ve got some bad news.

The bad news is for Invicta FC fans – Megan Anderson (8-2) will not be defending her Invicta FC featherweight title on July 15th in Kansas City. The good news is for MMA fans in general — and Megan Anderson’s pocket book — the Aussie native will make her UFC debut on July 29th in Anaheim instead. That fight will be contested for the UFC women’s featherweight title vacated by Germaine de Randamie and it will be against the deadly Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino (17-1).

Cyborg announced on social media tonight that her portion of the bout agreement has been received and an announcement should be made during tonight’s UFC Auckland broadcast on FS1. Stay tuned for more news on this announcement and UFC 214 news in the coming weeks.
