Report: Mickie James is SmackDown Live Bound

According to multiple reliable sources, former 6-time WWE champion and top ranked female wrestler Mickie James has signed a multi-year deal to appear on WWE programming. The deal will see James debuting this coming January on the SmackDown live brand.

James put on one hell of a performance last month against NXT women’s champion Asuka at NXT: TakeOver Toronto where she more than proved that she can still hang with the best of the best in the WWE/NXT women’s division. The 37-year-old has been staying busy putting in work for multiple promotions including House of Hardcore, Chikara, Shimmer, GFW, TNA since leaving WWE.
