The reveal trailer for ‘EA Sports UFC 3’ is absolutely stunning

EA Sports released a teaser trailer this morning for their upcoming third UFC title and it’s pretty intense. The early part of the trailer focuses on  press conferences, stare downs and smack talk and it appears that they’re putting a lot of work into this part of the game. Here’s a snippet from the press release sent out by EA:

EA SPORTS UFC 3 also introduces the new G.O.A.T. Career Mode where – for the first time – the choices made throughout your career impact your path to greatness. Outside of fights, players will make promotional choices to build hype, gain fans, earn more cash through big contracts and capture the world’s attention. A new in-game social media system allows players to create heated rivalries with other UFC athletes, providing the freedom to take on any type of persona, between cool-headed contender or infamous trash-talker.

The latter part shows us some recent real life moments including Conor McGregor’s KO of Eddie Alvarez to become a 2-division champion, Fabricio Werdum’s opening up a fight with a ninja kick and Demetrious Johnson’s absolutely stunning armbar finish of Ray Borg.

The game will be released on February 2nd of 2018 which doesn’t feel that far away considering that the hype for it just began this week. Conor McGregor will don the cover solo this time around; McGregor appeared with Ronda Rousey on the cover of UFC 2 while Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson shared the cover of the inaugural UFC EA game. 

“Two belts, two covers – EA SPORTS got it right again,” UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor said. “It’s an honor to be on the cover and I can’t wait to play the game.”
