‘Ravishing’ Rick Rude joins WWE’s 2017 Hall of fame class

Some 20 years after retiring from professional wrestling, the great Rick Rude will finally take his rightful spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.
According to BleacherReport.com, The ‘Ravishing’ one will be inducted into the Hall by his former adversary, Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat on WrestleMania weekend.
Rude played a heel throughout the full duration of his WWE career from 1987-1990 where his most memorable feuds came against Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts and the Ultimate Warrior. Rude, born Richard Erwin Rood, passed away due to heart failure at the age of 40 in April of 1999.
Rude joins Kurt Angle, Beth Phoenix, Diamond Dallas Page, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and Teddy Long as a member of 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class. Expect to see a video package of some of Rude’s greatest moments aired tonight on RAW. If you’re not able to catch live we’ll be sure to attach it to this article after it airs.
