Pro Wrestling Legend ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper passes at the age of 61

Pro wrestling legend Roddy ‘Rowdy’ Piper was found dead earlier today in Hollywood far too early at the age of 61 after suffering cardiac arrest in his sleep earlier this morning, July 31st.
Piper, born Roedrick George Toombs, will go down in history as one of the best pro wrestling heels of all-time. Piper is also well known for his role in the 1988 cult classic They Live amongst other Horror projects. He was a regular at Horror conventions around the country leading up to his untimely passing.
Piper, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2006 (he was said to be free of cancer at his death) is survived by his 3 daughters and one son, MMA competitor Colt Toombs.
