Ryback responds to CM Punk’s harsh claims on Twitter

Tweet. Delete. Repeat. It’s a motto that WWE’s resident big guy lives by, and after being called out by CM Punk on Colt Cabana’s podcast last week, he’s back at it again. It all started with this tweet featuring 7 Ryback’s (and 1 mini Ryback) standing over a Punk, who had just been slammed through a table.

This was apparently in response to Punk claiming that Ryback had injured him on multiple occasions during their time working together for WWE. Punk even claimed that his programs with Ryback “…took 20 years off his f**king life.” Still Punk was willing to wipe the slate clean and give “Steroid Guy” a second chance. Here’s a direct quote as transcribed by Cageside Seats.

“I’ll work Ryback. And I go up to Ryan and I go ‘hey, man, clean slate. Let’s fucking kill this. Let’s fucking show ’em that you’re better than they think you are, let’s show them that I’m better than they think I am, and let’s fucking, let’s turn this mid-card shit into a fucking main event.’ ‘Yeah, I’m really excited, great, blah blah blah.’ First night out, gorilla press through a table, fucking misses the table, dumps me on the concrete fucking ground, tilts me on my pelvis, fucks me up for weeks.”

This wasn’t the first time Ryback decided to recreate the scene of the crime. Here’s a little less Lynchian one that he tweeted out back in August before he took some time off for surgery.

And finally, Exhibit D – a .gif of the infamous gorilla press through the table that Punk was awarded for agreeing to work with Ryback again.

It was brutal mistakes like this that led Punk to ask Ryback if he was hurting him on purpose or if he was just dumb as fu*k, to which Ryback responded he was dumb as f*ck. Here’s what Ryback had to say about Punk in a series of tweets that have seen been deleted.

“For the record if I quit for being fragile and insecure I would make up excuses too. Things didn’t go my way for a long time and I kept Going day in and out. Slander is a powerful thing and to state complete made up nonsense for no reason shows his insecurities. I will Continue to bust my ass study matches every chance I get, cut promos when driving and push myself for hours on end even when hurt. Thank you”
