Superstar Shakeup: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn join Smackdown Live

The Kevin Owens Show is moving to Tuesday nights.

Day two of the ‘Superstar Shakeup’ kicked off with your current United States Champion making the walk to his new ring dressed to impress. Due to his upcoming match with Chris Jericho on the RAW branded Payback PPV later this month, Owens will not be defending his title on the blue brand until May 2nd per Daniel Bryan. 

It was also revealed during tonight’s opening segment that Sami Zayn, much to the dismay of Owens, has followed his former bestie to Smackdown Live.

Zayn, AJ Styles and Baron Corbin will compete in a triple threat main event tonight to decide a #1 contender for Owens’ US Title. Bryan also noted that should Jericho defeat Owens at Payback, ‘Y2J’ will head to Smackdown instead of KO. It’s no secret that Jericho’s band, Fozzy, will begin their tour in May meaning that KO to Smackdown Live is a done deal.
