Title change kicks off WWE Battleground PPV

Tonight’s WWE Battleground PPV out of Philadelphia kicked off with a title match for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship between The Usos and Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston of The New Day.
After another great back and forth match with some solid near falls, between the top two teams on the brand, Kofi Kingston hit ‘Trouble in Paradise’ on Jimmy Uso and Xavier followed it with a beautiful flying elbow from the top rope to get the pinfall. The New Day are now your 3-time Tag Team Champions (RAW x 2, Smackdown x 1) and The Usos third title reign ends after 125 days.
Congratulations to the first team to ever be #RAW and #SDLive #TagTeamChampions… #TheNewDay! #WWEBattleground pic.twitter.com/STf358dLDa
