TLC main event announced

Former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose earned himself another title shot tonight on Smackdown Live by defeating current champ AJ Styles in the main event of the evening. Following the show, SD Live commish Shane McMahon announced that Ambrose will receive his title shot on December 4th, in the main event of this year’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs PPV.

Ambrose finished Styles off with his Dirty Deeds finisher after avoiding a Phenomenal Forearm to earn the victory, despite multiple distractions from James Ellsworth.

Earlier on in the night, Ambrose took it upon himself to eject Ellsworth from the building, which provided us with the best quotes of the night – “Any man with two hands..can call an Uber and get right outta here.” Young Ellsworth would not take Ambrose’s advice though. Fortunately for Ambrose, another rendition of ‘No Chin Music’ was not on the menu tonight as Smackdown security would keep Ellsworth on the run after he found his way back into the building.

WWE TLC will be the third Smackdown Live exclusive PPV to take place since the brand split and will come just two weeks after the dual-brand Survivor Series show takes place on November 20th.
