TUF 20 returns on October 22nd with Herrig versus Clark

After a 2 week hiatus due to MLB’s CLS, TUF 20 is set to return tomorrow night with the 5th of 8 prelim bouts. If you need to be brought up to speed on the four fighters who are already through to the quarterfinals we’ve got you covered below:
• Episode 1: Randa Markos pulls off the upset to start the season
• Episode 2: Joanne Calderwood, the soft spoken assassin
• Episode 3: The rip current of Carla Esparza
• Episode 4: Jessica Penne and why she could win TUF 20
On October 22nd, both Felice Herrig and Heather Jo Clark will have the opportunity to join the four aforementioned fighters in a quest to become the UFC’s first women’s strawweight champion.
Herrig and Clark have tangled webs before. Herrig would outscore Clark on the judges scorecards in early 2013 in a preliminary Bellator 94 bout that drew heat before, during and after the two would share the cage with one another.
It’s true. The sequel certainly holds much more weight than the first meeting between these two competitors. Will emotions get in the way of one of these women securing a shot at a UFC title? Or are we destined to see more the same? Do yourself a favor and tune into FOX Sports 1 tomorrow night at 10 p.m. ET to see who will join Esparza, Calderwood, Penne, and Markos in the quest to make history.
