UFC Female Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey stopped by Good Day LA and was met with a fighting icon in Mike Tyson. Watching the two together was really interesting and Mike Tyson had some good advice for her.

Ronda, for her part, looked very sharp and listened attentively while Mike spoke, and when they addressed her armbar victory over Liz Carmouche, Mike chimed in with, “Her mommy taught her that.” Ronda went on to add that her mother was the first American to win the Judo world championship in 1984.

Mike Tyson was there to promote his one man show, “The Undisputed Truth,” which has been getting rave reviews. Mike is a gifted athlete and a very interesting person. To hear him speak, he has some serious insights, especially in the fight game. Mike said when he became the champion, “The fun went away.” He said he took it too serious, “I’m a stress guy, I wanted to be a God, I wanted to fight Achilles and those guys, my mind…I’m a dreamer, I’m delusional. I have delusions of grandeur.”

When Mike was asked if he had any advice for Ronda he said, “Yeah, stick with your moms. Stick with your moms and get a good lawyer.” They all laughed at that, based on Mike’s past troubles with both the law, and promoters stealing from him.

He was very, very complimentary towards Rousey, and you could see that it meant a lot to her. It’s an interesting video, and one I hope you enjoy.
