UFC 178 ‘Embedded’ episodes 2 & 3 focus on Alvarez-Cerrone, McGregor-Porier

When it comes the UFC’s new cutting edge video blog series ‘Embedded’, you’re getting a behind the scenes look at the fighters during the week of the fight itself. Ahead of UFC 178, there has been a heavy focus on the co-main event between Eddie Alvarez and Donald Cerrone and the grudge match between Irish bad boy Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. Main eventer’s Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso are almost invisible in these videos; just like the last Embedded that featured Johnson when he took on Ali Bagautinov – next to no air time.

Some of the highlights in these two particular videos include the following: Eddie Alvarez tapping out Rocky, Conor McGregor visiting the great Jason Ellis, a very awkward staredown between McGregor and Poirier, and Donald Cerrone being, well, Donald Cerrone.
