Aldo-McGregor title fight announced for July 11th in Vegas for International Fight Week

A main event scrap for the UFC featherweight title has been announced as the headliner for the UFC’s 4th annual international fight week. #1 contender Conor McGregor made the announcement during his Fight Club Q & A today in Vegas as part of the festivities for this weekend’s UFC 183 event. The fight will pit McGregor against the only featherweight champion in the promotions history – Jose Aldo.
The fight will take place on July 11th inside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena. McGregor secured his shot at Aldo after disposing of Dennis Siver earlier this month in Boston with relative ease. The fight between McGregor and Aldo was originally thought to be slated for UFC 187 in May but instead will get a much bigger spotlight as a part of the company’s biggest fight week of the year. See what else McGregor had to say about his upcoming title fight and other subjects in the Q&A video below.
