UFC 190 Bonus Report: Rousey, Maia, Shogun & Lil’ Nog collect checks

An extra $50K in bonus money was given to four fighters following UFC 190 ‘Rousey vs. Correia’ in Rio tonight.
Demian Maia and Ronda Rousey were awarded the two performance of the night bonuses while Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira were given the fight of the night bonus.
For Maia, it was his 6th career bonus during his 21-fight UFC career and his first bonus for a submission since UFC 95 when he submitted Chael Sonnen via triangle choke. The Brazilian submission specialist was awarded submission of the night bonuses (back when they existed) in 4 of his first 5 career UFC fights.
Aside from her UFC debut against Liz Carmouche, Ronda Rousey has earned performance bonuses in all of her UFC fights. She remains perfect at 12-0 with 12 finishes; 9 via submission and 3 via TKO/KO.
Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira turned back the clock, putting on a worthy sequel to their 2005 fight of the year classic. This was Rua’s 8th bonus during his 15-fight UFC career. It was Lil’ Nog’s 3rd in 8 fights since debuting for the UFC back in 2009.
