UFC 200 ‘Jones vs. Cormier’ official event poster; updated fight card

Now that UFC featherweight champ Conor McGregor has officially been removed from UFC 200, the promotion is prepared to go ahead with a light heavyweight title unification rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones as the headliner for their 200th numbered event.

Cormier vs. Jones will be one of 3 title bouts featured on the card; Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar will battle for the interim featherweight title in the co-main event after Miesha Tate makes the first defense of her bantamweight strap against Brazilian “Lioness” Amanda Nunes.

The winner of Aldo versus Edgar will get a bout against Conor McGregor should he decide to come back down to 145 lbs after attempting to avenge his loss against Nate Diaz at welterweight later this year. If McGregor doesn’t decide to come back down in weight, the winner of Aldo vs. Edgar will become the undisputed featherweight champ.
