UFC 203 weigh-in highlight: Eye, Correira start fight a night early

Celebrated Ohioan Jessica Eye (11-5) got a huge pop, second only to heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic, earlier today before hitting the scale at the UFC 203 weigh-in event in Cleveland.
The “Evil” one heads into her fight with former title challenger, Bethe Correia (9-2), tomorrow night having lost 4 of her last 5 in a division many thought she’d rule one day. Correia has dropped two straight since being KO’d by Ronda Rousey in just 34 seconds. Both of these fierce competitors could literally be fighting for their jobs on Saturday night and by the looks of exhibit A below, neither one of them will be willing to give the other an inch to breathe when the cage door closes behind them.
The former #1 ranked flyweight fighter was not impressed with Correia as she went into their staredown leading with her left forearm. Eye would respond with a nice push sending Bethe back toward world-famous matchmaker Joe Silva, who would be forced to wrap his arms around the furious Brazilian as she attempted to charge back at Eye. Eye seemed surprisingly calm following the exchange.
Eye and Correia will headline the FOX Sports 1 preliminary portion of UFC 203 beginning at 8 p.m. ET live from the Quicken Loans Arena in Championship City, Ohio.
