UFC 207: Ronda Rousey Returns (video)

Likely knowing that this Saturday night’s UFC 206 will bomb at the box office, the promotional team has already begun pouring money into the upcoming UFC 207 ‘Nunes vs. Rousey’ PPV. And the results have been incredible.

The following “UFC 207: Ronda Rousey Returns” video reminds the folks with short term memory loss of the megastar she was before taking an extended leave following her dramatic loss to Holly Holm last November. The three minute plus video has a Hollywood feel to it, building Rousey as the forgotten star who has secluded herself while preparing for her long awaited return to the cage. There’s almost next to no mention of the current champion, Amanda Nunes, who will be defending her title against Rousey on December 30th. Nunes defeated the now retired Miesha Tate in the main event of UFC 200 to capture the ultimate prize in women’s MMA today. She’ll look to cement her name in MMA history by taking out the biggest female star in the game today.

Again, this video is all about Rousey and her return to the spotlight after over a year away from the cage. Can one of the most dominant champions in history reclaim the title she believes is rightfully hers? Or will this be the last time we see Rousey compete inside of the octagon?
