UFC 218 tickets range from $50 – $250 for highly anticipated Detroit return

On December 2nd, the world-famous Octagon will touch down in Detroit for the first time since 1996 and tickets are now officially on sale.

UFC 218 will take place inside of Detroit’s brand new Little Caesars Arena and will feature a featherweight title bout between current world champion, Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway (18-3) and former UFC lightweight champion, Frankie ‘The Answer’ Edgar (21-5-1). If Edgar can dethrone Holloway, he will join Randy Couture, B.J. Penn and Conor McGregor as only the fourth fighter in UFC history to become a 2-division world champion.

In the co-main event of the evening, two colossal heavyweights will collide when former Strikeforce and DREAM heavyweight champion, Alistair Overeem (43-15) takes on a man many believe to be the future of the division, Francis Ngannou (10-1). The winner of this bout is expected to be next in line for a shot against UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.

On paper, a lightweight battle between TUF 26 coaches Eddie Alvarez (28-5) and Justin Gaethje (18-0) screams ‘fight of the year’ contender. On December 2nd, Detroit will see for themselves when Alvarez, a former UFC and 2-time Bellator 155 lbs champion, takes on the former WSOF 155 lbs title holder out and undefeated contender out of Arvada, Colorado.

Tickets for this event currently on sale for UFC Fight Club members and go on sale for UFC newsletter subscribers tomorrow, October 12th, at 10 a.m. ET. The general public will get to purchase their tickets beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 13th. Tickets range from $50 – $250 and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.
