UFC 219: Cyborg and Holm face off for the first time
UFC 219 headliners Cris Cyborg (18-1) and Holly Holm (11-3) faced off for the first time today following media day in Detroit. Tickets go sale tomorrow (December 1st) to the general public while tickets are currently available now to UFC Fight Club members and UFC newsletter subscribers.
Cyborg will defend her UFC women’s featherweight championship against Holm on December 30th inside of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to close out the UFC’s 2017 calendar year with a bang. The card will also feature a lightweight battle between the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov (24-0) and Edson Barboza (19-4); a potential #1 contender’s duel at 135 lbs between Jimmie Rivera (21-1) and John Lineker (30-8) and the return of the ‘Natural Born Killer’ himself, Carlos Condit (30-8), who will battle Neil Magny (19-6).
