UFC 225: CM Punk vs. Mike Jackson full fight highlights
CM Punk made his second visit to the Octagon last night in Chicago and it wasn’t pretty.
The former WWE Superstar faced Mike Jackson, a MMA media member and 2011 Houston Golden Gloves Champ, in the opening bout on last night’s UFC 225 PPV from the United Center. While Punk did land a punch (19 to be exact) and secure a takedown in the contest, the story of this fight would be Jackson toying with a UFC fan who was given an opportunity of a lifetime because of his celebrity status.
Give credit where credit it due, Punk showed a ton of heart and his true fighting spirit in a spot where he could’ve easily quit at any given moment. He did everything he possibly could with the tools that he had. The man is a fighter through and through regardless of the outcome.
