UFC 225 Finalized Bout Order: CM Punk vs. Mike Jackson to open up PPV

The full fight lineup and order has been set for what, believe it or not, will be the first ever UFC PPV card to take place in Chicago since the promotion began all the way back in 1993.

On the PPV portion of the card, a welterweight battle between a former WWE superstar and current MMA media member will open up the show when CM Punk takes on Mike Jackson.

One of the big surprises is that UFC women’s bantamweight champion and three-time PPV headliner Holly Holm will be headlining the FS1 preliminary portion of the card. For as stacked as this card is from top to bottom, her featherweight contest could’ve certainly taken the spot that is currently being held by Andrei Arlovski and Tai Tuivasa. While the UFC does like to have a heavyweight bout on their PPV’s, they already do have what appears to be a guaranteed KO finish when Overeem meets Blaydes in the three hole.

All in all, this card will feature 6 current or former UFC champions and 11 folks who have competed in a title bout during their career.
