Let’s try this one again.
After having their highly anticipated title bout canceled this past July at UFC 226, Featherweight Champion Max Holloway (19-3) and Brian Ortega (14-0) have been rescheduled to dance once again on December 8th in Toronto.
The July bout would be canceled due to Holloway’s “concussion like symptoms” during fight week. It would be a scary situation that had many thinking it could have been the last we would see of Max. Fortunately for everyone, the ‘Blessed’ Hawaiian will be back in action sooner rather than later.
Holloway versus Ortega has yet to be officially announced by the UFC but has reportedly been agreed upon by both competitors according to multiple reputable outlets. The fight will headline UFC 231 inside of Scotiabank Arena.
A lightweight bout between Olivier Aubin-Mericer and Gilbert Burns has also been rescheduled for this card.
