UFC announces Chicago PPV event for June 9th

UFC 225 is coming to Chicago on June 9th per tonight’s UFC on FS1 broadcast.
While they’ve brought multiple UFC on FOX events to the Windy City, this will mark the first time that a PPV has taken place there. The event is scheduled to take place at the United Center with the ticket on sale date to be announced. UFC 224 was also officially announced for May 12th in Rio de Janeiro during tonight’s show out of Belem, Brazil.
Local fighters that could appear on the Chicago card include Clay Guida, Felice Herrig, Will Brooks and CM Punk.
