UFC Fight Night Stockholm post-fight presser & quotables (video)

The press talked to Peter Sobatta, Volkan Oezdemir and Alexander Gustafsson following tonight’s event in Stockholm. Check out what we learned below.

• Peter Sobotta definitely has a broken hand. He broke it on a left overhand in the first round.

• On Emil Weber Meek – “I want to fight real fighters and not clowns.”

• Sobotta’s ultimate match up would be against Demian Maia. Gunnar Nelson in Poland is in his head but he doesn’t want to call out anybody.

• After dispatching of Misha Cirkunov in 28 seconds in tonight’s co-main event, Volkan Oezdemir wants Jimi Manuwa next.

• Alexander Gustafsson would have proposed to his girlfriend inside following the bout regardless of result.

• Gustafsson: “I’ll never fight Jimi Manuwa.”

• “There will be a title fight in July and after that I’ll be ready – they just need to contact me.”

• Gus on the two big things coming up in his life: “The title fight’s going to be the tough one. The marriage will be something fun that I’ll enjoy.”

• Gus On Jon Jones being ‘The biggest enemy of all-time”: “He is the biggest enemy. I don’t like him….He’s not a champion in my eyes. He’s not a good person in my eyes.”

• Although Jimi Manuwa is the first reserve for ‘Cormier vs. Jones II’ in July, Gus says he will be ready should something unfortunate happen.
