UFC injury bug bites again – Pettis out, Barboza in against Jury at UFC on FOX 16
2012 KO of the Year winner Edson Barboza is always just one strike away from $50K
“Showtime” fans will have to wait a little longer to see Anthony Pettis (18-3) make his return to the cage. As reported by FOX Sports Live just moments ago, Pettis will not be able to fight Reebok poster boy Myles Jury (15-1) due to an elbow injury that will set the former champion back until later this year.
Luckily for Jury, 12-fight UFC veteran Edson Barboza (15-3) has been tapped to replace Pettis which means this fight will maintain it’s must see main card status on FOX.
