Watch: Benoit TKO’s Pettis, Literally kicks him in the ass after stoppage

Sergio Pettis was about to go up two rounds to zero in his flyweight debut against Ryan Benoit on the UFC Fight Pass portion of UFC 185 tonight in Dallas, Texas. His opponent was a mess. His right eye was all jacked up and his right hand, according to color commentator Joe Rogan, appeared to be damaged. Luckily for him he was born with two hands.
During an exchange that saw both men mirror one another with a right-left hook combo, Benoit’s left hook would land right on the jaw of Pettis sending him flat on his back where he would eventually turtle up after eating more wild shots from his opponent. After the referee waved off the contest, Benoit gave Pettis a little “F U” kick in the ass. Take a look for yourself
For Pettis, he appeared to get too comfortable, lacking that killer instinct we’ve seen from his brother in the past when he knows the man standing across from him is worse for wear. For Benoit, the win was certainly marred by his unsavory actions after the fight was over. He admitted his wrong doing to Rogan in the post-fight interview where he said that he was “zoned in” in front of his hometown crowd, who would meet him with a chorus of boo’s after seeing the replay.
Final Result: Ryan Benoit (8-3) defeats Sergio Pettis (12-2) via TKO (punches) – Round 2, 1:34
