Weidman-Belfort, Rousey-Zingano official for UFC 184 in Los Angeles

If it ain’t broke – don’t fix it.
The undefeated duo of Chris Weidman and Ronda Rousey will reunite once again to headline a UFC PPV together for the 3rd time is just 14 months. Weidman (12-0) and Rousey (10-0) will defend their straps against current #1 contenders Vitor Belfort (24-10) and Cat Zingano (9-0) in two highly anticipated and long-awaited bouts inside of the Staples Center on February 28th.
UFC President Dana White had originally announced the Rousey-Zingano fight to co-headline UFC 182 in Vegas in support of Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier. The move makes sense considering Weidman and Rousey have had success on PPV’s together before and Jones-Cormier does not need a second title fight to do big numbers.
A lightweight tilt between Donald Cerrone and Myles Jury has been inserted into the co-main event slot to replace Rousey-Zingano on the UFC 182 card, which takes place on January 3rd.
