Wilder and Fury plant seeds for inevitable heavyweight super clash (video)

It’s no longer up for debate, the big money match to make in boxing at heavyweight is clearly Deontay Wilder (36-0, 35 KO’s) versus Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KO’s). And after last night – you have no argument against it.
As seen in the video above, the two men didn’t hesitate to trade pleasantries following Wilder’s brutal KO of Artur Szpilka, closing out the first card of many that Showtime Championship Boxing will be blessing us with during their 30th year in a big way. Unfortunately for the fans, both men are already tied up as far as their immediate future is concerned. Wilder is obligated to take on Russia’s Alexander Povetkin (30-1, 22 KO’s) in a fight that should take place this Spring in Russia. Fury will also be fighting around the same time against Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KO’s), in a rematch of one of the most disappointing title fights of 2015.
The only positive is that the seeds have been planted; we will have most of the year to marinate on a Wilder versus Fury slug fest if everything goes according to planned and both men emerge victorious from their upcoming respective fights.
