WWE ‘King of the Ring’ 2015: Round 1 highlights and results

For the first time since 2010, WWE held a ‘King of the Ring’ tournament to crown a their new King. The opening round took place last night on RAW inside of the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The semi-finals and finals will air live and exclusively on the WWE Network at 8 p.m. ET tonight.

Round 1 Results:

• Bad News Barrett vs. Dolph Ziggler: Barrett defeats Ziggler via pinfall after landing his “Bull Hammer” off the Sheamus distraction

• R-Truth vs. Stardust: Truth defeats Stardust via pinfall after hitting his lie detector finisher out of mid air

• Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus: Sheamus defeats Ambrose via DQ after Ziggler interfered with the match to attack Sheamus and chase him off into the crowd.

• Luke Harper vs. Neville: Neville defeats Harper via pinfall after hitting his “Red Arrow” finisher.
